Binna Burra Lodge is one of Australia’s oldest and most loved nature-based resorts, founded in 1933 by conservationists Arthur Groom and Romeo Lahey. Getting there
Binna Burra Lodge is located about 100 km south of Brisbane and 50 km west of the Gold Coast. The lodge is accessible by car, bus or shuttle service. If you are driving, you can take the Pacific Motorway (M1) and exit at Nerang (exit 69), then follow the signs to Beechmont and Binna Burra. The drive takes about 90 minutes from Brisbane and 60 minutes from the Gold Coast. If you are taking public transport, you can catch a train to Nerang or Varsity Lakes station, then take a bus to Beechmont. From there, you can book a shuttle service to Binna Burra Lodge. Alternatively, you can book a direct shuttle service from Brisbane or Gold Coast airports or hotels to Binna Burra Lodge.
