Ol Donyo Lodge is an exclusive safari lodge and social enterprise in the heart of the Chyulu Hills, Kenya, between Amboseli and Tsavo West National Parks in southeast Kenya. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can enjoy the views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest tusker elephants and the majestic lions, all in one setting. Ol Donyo Lodge is a pioneer of sustainable tourism and a partner of the local Maasai community, who own and manage the 275,000-acre Mbirikani Group Ranch where the lodge is located.
The lodge has seven pool suites and one family suite. Suites come with four-poster beds, en-suite bathrooms, fireplaces and private plunge pools. Some suites are also equipped with star beds, where you can sleep under the African sky and watch the stars and the wildlife from your own terrace.
As well as traditional safaris, if you are feeling adventurous you can explore the sweeping savanna landscapes on horseback, bike or on foot. You can also visit the sunken hide, where you can get close to the elephants and other animals that come to drink at the waterhole.
