Can Marti is a tranquil oasis of rustic charm and eco-friendly living in the north of Ibiza. This 400-year-old finca (farmhouse) has been lovingly restored and converted into a stylish guesthouse with four self-catering apartments, each with its own terrace and access to the lush gardens and saltwater pool. Surrounded by olive groves, almond trees and fragrant herbs, Can Marti offers a serene escape from the island’s party scene, while still being close to some of its best beaches and attractions. It is located in the rural area of Sant Joan de Labritja, in the north of Ibiza. The guesthouse is set on a 17-hectare organic farm that produces olive oil, almonds, fruits and vegetables, as well as honey and eggs from its own bees and chickens. The farm is part of the Ibiza Preservation Foundation, which aims to protect the island’s natural and cultural heritage. The nearest village is Sant Joan, a 10-minute drive away, where you can find a few shops, cafes and restaurants. The stunning beaches of Cala Xarraca, Cala Benirras and Portinatx are also within easy reach by car or bike.
Sustainability
Can Marti is committed to sustainability and environmental awareness. The guesthouse uses renewable energy sources to power its facilities and reduce its carbon emissions. It has solar panels and a wind turbine that generate electricity, and collects rainwater for irrigation and washing. All the apartments have low-energy appliances and LED lighting, as well as organic cotton bedding and towels. The farm practices organic agriculture and permaculture, and sells its produce at local markets and to guests. The farm also hosts educational workshops and tours for visitors who want to learn more about eco-friendly living. Can Marti also supports local artisans and businesses by sourcing local materials and products for its decoration and amenities. Guests are encouraged to reduce their ecological footprint by recycling, composting and using the free bikes provided by the guesthouse. Can Marti is part of the Ibiza Preservation Foundation, which aims to protect the island’s natural and cultural heritage.

The apartments can accommodate from two to six people, depending on their size and configuration.
