Camp Sossus is a luxury tented camp in the heart of Namibia’s Namib-Naukluft National Park, home to the world’s oldest desert and highest sand dunes. This is a place to reconnect with nature, enjoy spectacular views and starry nights, and experience the thrill of wildlife encounters. Camp Sossus is run by Ultimate Safaris, a leading operator of tailor-made safaris in Namibia, and offers an exclusive and intimate experience for up to 16 guests. The camp is located on a private concession within the NamibRand Nature Reserve, a vast and diverse landscape of mountains, plains, dunes and riverbeds. The camp overlooks a waterhole that attracts a variety of animals, including oryx, springbok, zebra and ostrich. The camp is also close to the famous Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where you can marvel at the towering red dunes and the ancient clay pans dotted with dead trees.
