Finolhu Villa is located on the private island of Gasfinolhu, in the North Male Atoll of the Maldives. The island is about 5 hectares in size and has a pristine coral reef that teems with marine life. The island is accessible by a 40-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport. Finolhu Villa is designed with a contemporary and minimalist style, using natural materials such as wood, stone and bamboo. The villas are bright and airy, with large windows that let in the natural light and breeze. The villas are decorated with soothing coloUrs, elegant furniture and tropical accents. The villas also have state-of-the-art amenities, such as air-conditioning, WiFi, TV, DVD player, iPod dock, minibar, espresso machine and more.
Sustainability
The resort is powered by solar energy, which provides electricity and hot water for the villas and the common areas. The resort has 4,000 solar panels that generate around 1 megawatt of energy per day, more than enough to power the entire resort. The Beach Villas are located on the beachfront of the island, with direct access to the sand and the sea. They have a large living room with a sofa bed and a dining area, a bedroom with a king-size bed and a dressing room, and a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. They also have a private pool and a sun deck with sun loungers and a dining table.
The Overwater Villas are located on stilts over the lagoon, with stunning views of the water and the horizon.
