One of the best ways to explore Mumbai is by joining one of the city tours organized by Abode Bombay and run by the local community. Tours include visits to historical sites, such as the Gateway of India, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, and the Elephanta Caves. We recommend the early morning tour to witness various areas of the city coming to life including the fishing boats at Sassoon Docks, dhobi ghat washers, fruit and veg markets and newspaper vendors.
Back at Abode, there is a spa room to enjoy a range of wellness treatments. One of the unique features of the spa is that it works with the Victoria Medical School for the Blind, a local outfit training talented massage therapists, offering employment opportunities and wellness services.
